On this damp, chilly morning I woke up with a craving for a warming, aromatic, and cheerful turmeric latte.
There are a lot of intricate recipes out there for 2016/17’s fad beverage of choice, but here is, perhaps, the quickest, simplest variation:
- To a saucepan add 1 cup almond (or other plant) milk
- Whisk in 3/4 tsp ground turmeric, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, pinch nutmeg
- Continue to whisk, and 1/4 tsp maple syrup, bring to a boil.
- Drink it all down!
